While many of publication’s contributors live throughout the world, our general staff is located in Santa Barbara, California. We offer a smart, creative work environment and excellent benefits, including
•	10 vacation days a year
•	5 sick days a year
•	10 holidays
•	1 personal holiday.

Paid benefits include health insurance, life insurance, and an employee-funded 403B Retirement Plan.

Currently we’re accepting applications for the following positions:

MMc Fellow
The Miller-McCune Center supports two editorial fellowships with Pacific Standard magazine. The full-time fellowships last twelve months, from January to December, and are paid an annual stipend.

Editorial fellowships focus on the writing for the print and online publication, as well as research, fact-checking, and developing info graphics.
We also offer summer internships for undergraduate students in technology, policy studies, or communication programs.

Applicants must be pursuing journalism as a career and have experience working in a deadline-oriented environment. You should also be enthusiastic, highly organized, and have a demonstrable interest in social issues, research and policy. A passion for writing is essential.

Accepting applications for 2013 fellowships in early September 2012. If you’re interested, contact Maria Streshinsky, Editor-in-Chief.
